There will be an event of Japanese Calligraphy Exhibition (書道の作品展)at a small gallery in Nakameguro, Tokyo.
This Calligraphy exhibition is organized by a young Japanese Calligraphy Artist (teacher), Ms. Sae Sasajima (笹島沙恵) who also learns Japanese flower arrangement, or Ikebana.
One of our tea ceremony class mate takes her Calligraphy lessons and is joining this event.
Before making their works of Calligraphy, each students were assigned a name of flowers by the teacher.
One of the student was assigned Lilac, the light purple color flower.
Their Calligraphy works should be very unique and artistic with the imagination of flowers !
Time and Date: 10:00-19:00 (closed at 18:00 on Sunday), January 27-29, 2017.
Venue: “Rental Space Sakura ” Nakameguro 2-5-28 (along the Nakameguro river)
Fee: free of charge.
